Operation Sister Connect
“Sister is probably the most competitive relationship within the family, but once the sisters are grown, it becomes the strongest relationship.”~ Margaret Mead
Just a quick update to let you know my usual Monday post will be delayed until Tuesday morning. I just returned from a three day trip of nearly 800 miles.
My mother-in-law and her sisters had not seen each other in five years. Two of them are in their 90’s and the baby sister is 83. Lately, they had all made the comment to me they were worried they might not see each other again. I decided I could do something about that so we made a road trip.
Oh, the smiles. What a great life lesson. See life with new eyes. No regrets. I’ll be back tomorrow.

Excellent photos, and love Mead’s definition of a sister, I had never read that…
The cousins used pinecones today for photo’s. Neat.
You gave them beautiful memories for their lives today. A wonderful gift.

I don’t have any biological Sisters but I am very close to my Sister in Law and think of her as my Sister and our time spent together is valued. We text and Marco Polo everyday and I love seeing her smile and her words of wisdom. Thank you for reminding me how very special the one we call Sister is.
